Ahmedabad: The newly launched IIM-Udaipur and IIM-Raipur approaches the National Institute of Design (NID) in order to design logos for their institutes.

Director of IIM-Raipur, B S Sahay said that they want a good logo for the institute, which will reflect the institute's tradition and culture of learning. In addition, the institutes demanded that they want a touch of modernity as well as futuristic features in their logos. Currently, different faculties at the NID are occupied in the procedure of designing the logos.

As per sources, earlier, the NID had designed several important logos noticeable often during day-to-day life. Few of these include logos of Right to Information (RTI), the current logo of State Bank of India (SBI), Doordarshan and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
