Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for IIST Admission Test (ISAT) – 2012. The test is being conducted by the institute in order to select eligible candidates for admission into B Tech (Bachelor of Technology) programme in the following specializations, to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2012-13.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to register their candidature by filling in the online application form made available on the Institute’s official website: http://www.iist.ac.in/ or http://www.iist.ac.in/isat2012/. After submitting the online application, candidates must note the auto-generated registration number which will be required for the further application process. The examination fee (non-refundable) is Rs 600 (for General/OBC candidates) and Rs 300 (for SC/ST/PD and female candidates of all categories). Exam fee should be paid through challan form in triplicate (downloadable from the website). The examination fee has to be remitted in any one of the branches of State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB) or Union Bank of India (UBI), by using the challan in triplicate (fee remitted in any other form will not be accepted).
NRI candidates can remit their Examination fee for ISAT-2012 through any bank outside India. However, in that case, the examination fee must be sent in the form of DD drawn in favour of The Registrar, IIST payable at Thiruvananthapuram (any Demand Draft issued from a bank within India will not be acceptable). Candidates must note that the last date of fee remittance in the bank is January 6, 2012. After submitting the examination fee, candidates must send the “institute copy” of the challan through speed post to “The Chairman, ISAT-2012, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Valiamala P.O., Thiruvananthapuram - 695 547, Kerala” latest by January 16, 2012. One must write his/her name and ISAT-2012 Registration number on the envelope.
