Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination 2012, also known as IIT-JEE, date has been announced. IIT-JEE is conducted in order to select eligible candidates for admission into various undergraduate courses at all IITs (Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Patna, Rajasthan, Roorkee, Ropar), IT-BHU Varanasi, and ISM Dhanbad.

One can also obtain the offline application (prescribed application) form (OMR) from selected banks' branches (details given on the website). The application fee/cost is given below:
- GE/OBC candidates (Male)- Rs 1600 (Online) and Rs 1800 (Offline)
- SC/ST/PD candidates (Male)- Rs 800 (Online) and Rs 1000 (Offline)
All categories (Female) - Fee exempted for online applications, however, Rs 200 will be charges for offline applications. In addition, all those candidates who want to appear for IIT-JEE 2012 in Dubai city are required to apply online with a fee of US$ 200.
Note: Candidates must note that offline application form cost includes Rs 200 processing charges.
Duly filled in application (offline or printout of submitted online application form) should be submitted latest by December 15, 2011. For more information about admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates are requested to visit any of the aforementioned websites.
