New Delhi: The offline registration process (sale of offline application forms) for Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination 2012, also known as IIT-JEE, begins from today i.e. November 11, 2011. IIT-JEE 2012 is scheduled to be held on April 8, 2012. The last date for submission of completed application forms (offline or printed copy of the Online Form) is December 15, 2011. Candidates may obtain the prescribed Optical Machine Readable (OMR) Application form, through cash purchase from the below given bank branches.

- Canara Bank Branches (IIT Bombay Zone)
- Union Bank Of India Branches (IIT Delhi Zone)
- State Bank Of India Branches (IIT Guwahati Zone)
- State Bank Of India Branches (IIT Kanpur Zone)
- Axis Bank Branches (IIT Kharagpur Zone)
- Indian Bank Branches (IIT Madras Zone)
- Punjab National Bank Branches (IIT Roorkee Zone)
The cost of application form is as follows:
- Form for GE/OBC Male candidates - Rs 1800
- Form for SC/ST/PD Male candidates - Rs 1000
- Form for All Female candidates - Rs 200
Note: OMR Application form cost including processing charges of Rs 200.
IIT-JEE is a national level entrance test, conducted in order to select eligible candidates for admission into various undergraduate courses at all IITs (Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Patna, Rajasthan, Roorkee, Ropar), IT-BHU Varanasi, and ISM Dhanbad.
