New Delhi: The 17th North Zone Sport Climbing Meet 2011 will be organized at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University from October 13 to 16, 2011. The National Cadet Corps, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University and North Zone Sport Climbing Association are jointly holding the sports meet.
As per press release issued by the University, Prof S M Sajid, Registrar, Jamia Millia Islamia inaugurated the competition on October 13 at 5.30 pm. In addition, Mrs Alka Sharma, Secretary, Delhi Sport Climbing Association presided over the opening ceremony.
Furthermore, the closing ceremony and prize distribution function is scheduled to be held on October 16, 2011 at 4.00 pm where Prof Z H Khan, Dean, Students’ Welfare will be the Chief Guest.
