The result of Joint Entrance Screening Test 2011, popularly known as JEST, will be declared today i.e. on March 16, 2011 at 6.00 pm. Once declared, candidates will be able to check the results made available in the website: http://jest2011.imsc.res.in/
JEST - 2011 written test was held on February 20, 2011 (Sunday), from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. This year, 5875 candidates in Physics and 1745 candidates in Computer Science wrote the JEST examination. The participating institutes will shortlist candidates depending on their cutoff marks and applicants will directly receive the information about their interview/selection from the respective institute.
The Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is a common qualifying test for admissions to Ph.D. programmes in Physics at premier Indian research institutions and a Ph.D. programme in Theoretical Computer Science at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences.
