Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) has commenced its upcoming session by organizing orientation programme for its PGDM students 2011-2013, at its Rohini campus.
As per sources, the Orientation Programme started with a note paying tribute to Late Shri Jagan Nath Gupta. It was followed by a welcome address by Prof. R.P. Maheshwari, Director General, (Hon)-JIMS. Prof Maheshwari also conveyed the message that a new life in this globalized world with competition everywhere around, one would have to seek to progress with a genuine mind set, goal, targets and a desire to work hard.
Moreover, after the Director's address to the audience, students got an opportunity to interact with the faculty members. During the interaction period the faculty members shared their vast experience in the field of education, which gave them a clear idea of the recent industrial norms and expectations. Also, JIMS faculty members shared with them certain tips on becoming effective future managers, global leaders and entrepreneurs.
