Kerala SSLC Exam 2011 Results Declared

The result of Kerala SSLC examinations held in March 2011 has been declared on April 28, 2011 (Thursday). The results were declared by Minister for Education M.A. Baby along with Director of Public Instruction A.P.M. Mohammad Hanish.
 
State Education Minister M A Baby told reporters that the 91.37 pass percentage was a slight improvement on the 90.78 per cent recorded last year. The minister said a total of 5,821 students got A+ grade, and it has been decided to give a merit certificate in the name of physicist C V Raman to those students.
 
Kottayam district recorded the maximum pass percentage with 98.07 per cent while Thiruvananthapuram district ranked last with a pass percentage of 85.90 per cent. Moreover, Baby also informed that the admission process for the higher secondary courses would begin on May 4, 2011 and single window system would be adopted for admission.
 
Furthermore, Mr Baby mentioned that 'Save A year' examination for SSLC students would be held next month itself and the result would be out in June. He also added that on a pilot basis, single window admission process would be introduced for Vocational Higher Secondary courses also in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam education districts covering 95 colleges.
