Manav Rachna International University Launches MPT Course

Faridabad: Manav Rachna International University, Haryana, has launched a new Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT), this year.The newly launched course is of four semesters, which includes practical training.
 
The University will offer practical training with specialization in musculoskeletal, sports, neurology and cardiopulmonary, for the MPT course. The course is being offered under the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Manav Rachna International University (MRIU).
 
The department (Faculty of Applied Sciences) has been recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) and The Delhi Council for Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy (DCPTOT). The MPT programme is directed towards rendering training in various clinical fields. It also aims to offers special training to enhance the professional competency amongst students in order to fulfill requirement of physiotherapy education and practice.
 
Initially, the course will commence with a total intake of 40 seats. The course fee is Rs 108,500 per-annum including refundable caution money of Rs 5,000. Those candidates who have qualified Bachelor of physiotherapy with at least 55% marks are only eligible to apply for the course.
