MCI Issues Syllabus for Common Medical Entrance Test

New Delhi: The Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi, has issued the syllabus for common entrance test for undergraduate medical courses, to be held next year. The syllabus is available on council’s official website:http://www.mciindia.org/.
 
As per the MCI’s official statement, one can find the final core and other relevant documents on the NEET-UG tab on the MCI website. This first ever medical common entrance test is scheduled to held on May 13, 2012.
 
Common Entrance Test (CET) for the undergraduate medical course will start from 2012 wherein a single entrance examination will be held for admissions to all government and private medical colleges in the country.
 
The Medical Council of India (MCI) is a statutory body exhibiting responsibility of establishing and maintaining high standards of medical education and recognition of medical qualifications in India. It also registers doctors to practice in India, in order to protect and promote the health and safety of the public by ensuring proper standards in the practice of medicine.
