NID to Organize Design Workshop

 

 

 

 

The National Institute of Design (NID) announces to organize a design workshop on ‘Introduction to Design: Issues and Methods’, which is scheduled to be held from August 10-12, 2011. The workshop will be organized at NID campus located in Ahmedabad and Gujarat. The primary focus of this programme will be to gain information and develop an understanding of design methods to give the essential exposure to design thinking and practice.
 
The workshop aims at understanding the fact that how it can be a key differentiate factor in the industry, which in turn would help to develop a basic understanding of design methods, user-centric design, collective idea generation methods, design issues, thinking and practice in modern context. Besides, to provide the participants a hands-on experience on the various user understanding and collective idea production methods practice in design.
 
National Institute of Design (NID) is one of the internationally acknowledged institutes of design. NID offers professional education programmes at undergraduate as well as postgraduate degree level course with five faculty streams and 17 varied design domains.
