National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, has announced to organize a design workshop on “Ergonomics and Design for Human Use” on September 21, 2011. It is a three-day workshop scheduled to be held from September 21-23, 2011. The workshop would be organized at the NID campus. The prime objective of the workshop will be to sensitize participants to the knowledge of ergonomics and principles of its applications.
The programme will also make students aware of how ergonomics and its principles can be used as an effective tool for designing user-friendly products, tasks, systems and work environments. In addition, the workshop will educate students, how it can help them to develop confidence to face current highly competitive and saturated global markets.
Located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, National Institute of Design (NID) is amongst the internationally acknowledged institutes of design. The institute provides professional education programmes at undergraduate as well as postgraduate degree level course with five faculty streams and 17 varied design disciplines.
