New Delhi: The 17th convocation of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is scheduled to be held on December 27, 2011 from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm. The convocation ceremony will be held at Sirifort Auditorium, Khel Gaon, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi - 110049. Students of graduating class 2011 are eligible to participate in the convocation ceremony and invited to receive their degree in person.
Eligible candidates who want to participate in the ceremony are advised to download the application form from the Institute’s official website: http://www.nift.ac.in/. The direct link to download the prescribed application form is: http://www.nift.ac.in/Downloads/Convocation2011_FormA.doc. The duly filled in application form should be sent by return mail on the email ID: niftconvocation2011.registration@hotmail.com latest by December 15, 2011 (till 5.00 pm).
Students, unable to attend the convocation ceremony, should inform the institute in advance and make arrangement to receive the degree in absentia. The degree in absentia will be issued from January 3, 2012 onwards to the students or to a person authorized by the students in writing to their respective centre registrars. However, candidates, who want to receive their degree by post, should send a DD of Rs 750 to the Registrar of respective NIFT centres.
