National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) in Bangalore, Karnataka, has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission into the DM (Doctor of Medicine) Degree in Neuroanaesthesia, offered in the ensuing academic session 2011-12. The admission will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance test conducted by the NIMHANS.

How to Apply
Interested candidates need to apply online by logging on to the NIMHANS official website: www.nimhans.kar.nic.in and filling in the online application. After submitting, take the printout of the Application Abstract. Paste the latest passport size photograph (in the column provided) and attach a DD of Rs 1000 (for General Candidates) and Rs 750 (for SC/ST candidates). The DD is to be made in the favour of The Director, NIMHANS, Bangalore 560 029. The enclosure documents needed to be attach along with the completed form are Final year Mark Sheet, Attempt, Internship Completion, Degree, PG Degree, Registration Certificates and Birth Certificate/SSLC/10th Standard Marks sheet.
Foreign Nationals are required to submit their applications through the Diplomatic Channel (through the Ministry of External Affairs). They shall also appear for the common Entrance Test along with other candidates. However, Sponsored candidates should submit their application through proper channel and they should also appear for Common Entrance Test. The candidates should produce the sponsorship certificate in the prescribed format.
The duly filled application form along with the DD and relevant enclosures should be sent to The Director, NIMHANS, Hosur Road, Bangalre – 560 029 latest by May 31, 2011 in an envelope superscribing the name of the course applied for. For more information about admission, eligibility criteria and application procedures, candidates are requested to visit the aforementioned website.
Note: 1.Eligible candidates must download their Hall-Ticket for the Entrance Test from NIMHANS website only as Hall- Tickets will not be sent by post.
