National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS0, Bangalore, has invited applications from candidates with Sponsorship from Government of India/State Govt. Institutions, Deputed or Sponsored from recognized University, Fellowships from Government Agencies like UGC/ICMR/CSIR etc., for PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) in various departments, offered in the ensuing session 2011-12. Permanent Employees and tenured employees of NIMHANS can also apply for PhD at this Institute which will be considered at the discretion of the competent authority.

How to apply
Interested candidates may obtain the applications from the Academic Section of NIMHANS on payment of Rs 1000 per application (Rs 750 in case of SC/ST candidates) in the form of DD drawn in favour of Director, NIMHANS. The duly filled in and completed application form should be submitted latest by September 15, 2011.
