The Postgraduates (PG) courses offered by NIPER are Master of Science (MS) in Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy, Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Pharmacy, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Pharmacy. NIPER offers courses in its constituent institutes at Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Hajipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Rae Barelli and S.A.S. Nagar (Punjab). NIPER conducts the Joint Entrance Examination at various test centers across the country.
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, which is located in Punjab, has been declared as an 'Institute of National Importance'. It was established by Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.
