The Rutgers Business School brings to India a ‘Mini-MBA in Business Essentials’ scheduled to be held in Mumbai between August 29 and September 2, 2011. The programme will be conducted in association with Think Education.
It is projected to encompass topics like economics, international business and trade, business strategy, managing human capital, leadership, marketing, supply chain management, analyzing a financial statement, financial strategies, global financial markets and investing.
The course fee is over $3,000 at Rutgers, which comes to Rs 1,45,000 approximately. However, this programme fee will be Rs 1 lakh for people from the industry and Rs 75,000 for fresh graduates.
The programme is open to participants of any age; their basic qualification required is that the candidate must be a graduate. Candidates will be selected on the basis on their academic achievements and professional experience.
Moreover, the school assures that the programme in India will not just be a ‘cut-and-paste’ from the US model, but will also include cases, theory and examples that will lay emphasis on the Indian economy and its links with the global economy.
