SSLC Results 2011 Tamil Nadu to be Declared Today

New Delhi: The Tamil Nadu Department of School Education (TNBSE) will announce the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 Exam 2011 results today, i.e. on May 25, 2011. Results will be published on the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education official website: www.tnresults.nic.in.
 
The examinations were held in March and April this year. All those students who have appeared the exam Tamil Nadu SSLC or Class 10 Exam 2011 and are eagerly waiting for their results can check in the aforementioned website, once declared.
 
Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) was set up in the year 1910. It was established under the purview of the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. The board evaluates students' progress by conducting two board examinations-one at the end of class 10 and the other at the end of class 12.
 
The jurisdiction of the board extends to schools located in the state of Tamil Nadu. Schools can choose to affiliate themselves to the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education or to other boards-the CBSE or the ICSE-that are authorized to conduct secondary (class 10) and higher secondary (class 12) final examinations and award certificates to successful candidates.
