In a release, the TAPMI Placement Chairperson Rajiv Shah, said as many as 45 companies from diverse sectors had participated in the campus recruitment process with 15 of them coming for the first time. Prof Shah added that a noteworthy factor in this year’s placement is the steep rise in acceptance of profiles in the consulting sector.

Moreover, sources say that the Institute had seen substantial raise in reimbursement packages with the highest offer being Rs 13.5 lakh per year (an increase of about 45 per cent over last year’s highest), median salary of Rs 8 lakh and lowest salary of Rs 5.9 lakh (an increase of about 50 per cent over last year’s lowest).

Furthermore, Prof Shah mentioned that though IT/ITES and Banking and Financial Services formed the sectors of preference for more than half of the batch (73 students out of 118), there were equally a large number of students opting for other sectors such as Consulting, FMCG, Healthcare/ Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing and Services.
