How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the Prospectus cum Application form from the counter of the University in person, against a cash payment of Rs 1500. The same can be received through post by sending a requisite along with a DD of Rs 1500. The DD should be drawn in favour of “Thapar University, Patiala” payable at Patiala. Application forms can also be obtained from the selected branches of AXIS Bank on cash payment of Rs 1500 (the list of selected AXIS branches is given on the University’s below mentioned website).
However, one can download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.thapar.edu/ and the printout of the same have to be supported with a DD as mentioned above. Duly filled application form along with the DD (in the case of downloaded application form) should be sent to “In charge, Admission Cell, Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab – 147004” latest by May 23, 2011. For more details about application and admission procedures, candidates are requested to visit the aforementioned official website of the University.
Note: 50% of the seats of BE / B Tech program are reserved for the candidates who have passed/(or appearing) in their +2 examination from Institutions located in Punjab.
