New Delhi: The US-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) has announced the Fulbright-Nehru Fellowships and other Fulbright Fellowships for study, research, teaching and professional development in the US. According to an American embassy statement, outstanding Indian students, academics, teachers, policy planners, administrators are eligible to apply for fellowships.
Professionals in all disciplines can also apply for the fellowships, the statement added. As per sources, a remarkable rise in number of scholarships awarded each year has been seen as a result of the India-US bilateral Fulbright agreement. In addition, sources told that USIEF looks forward to offer around 120 Fulbright-Nehru fellowships for Indians in 2012.
