New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi has invited applications from eligible candidates for the Combined Defense Services (CDS) Examination (I) to be held on February 12, 2012. The central agency is conducting the examination to short list candidates for admission into various defense courses at Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy for the session commencing from January 2013 and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the session beginning from April 2013.
As per the advertisement released, candidates are required to register their application through the online mode. For all details about the eligibility criteria, syllabus and scheme of the examination, centers of examination, and guidelines for filling the application form, candidates are requested to visit the official website of UPSC: http://www.upsc.gov.in/ or http://www.upsconline.nic.in/.
