Mumbai: On Monday i.e. January 10, 2011, Professor Dr. Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ingegerd Palmer, Vice-Chancellor, Malardalen University. As per sources, the MoU has been signed in order to reinforce the existing collaboration between the two institutions. Further, sources informed that the MoU intends to support the cooperation in the field of exchange of PhD students, teachers and professors and in research and teaching methods and distance education.
A release said that with this partnership that is focused in encouraging collaborative learning and research efforts, Welingkar Education has taken a decisive step in the direction of leading developments in the study of innovation, design and environment and social aspects that touch the lives of the common man. Furthermore, the release added that the partnership will open new panoramas of cooperation in the field of management studies and would give rise to a truly global genre of entrepreneurs, leaders and corporate citizens.
