Kochi: Amrita School of Medicine, Amrita University, Kerala, has extended the date of entrance exam 2012 for DM / M Ch programmes, to July 8, 2012. The entrance exam will be held at Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi, Kerala. Earlier, the entrance exam was scheduled to be held on July 1, 2012.
In addition, the last date of submission of application form for the entrance exam has also been extended till June 30, 2012, which was earlier June 18, 2012. The entrance exam is being conducted in order to select eligible candidates for admission into the following specializations of DM / M Ch programmes.
Specializations Offered:
- DM: Cardiology, Pulmonary Medicine, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Medical Oncology, Pediatric Cardiology, Cardiac Anesthesia
- M Ch: Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgery, Urology, Neuro Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Gastro Intestinal Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery*
Note: Subject marked with (*) is subject to approval from competent authorities.
Interested candidates may obtain the application form in person from selected branches of Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd or The Federal Bank Ltd on payment of Rs 2000 (list of branches is available on the University's official website: http://www.amrita.edu/). One can get the same through post by sending / writing requisition letter to the Admission Coordinator along with a DD of Rs 2000, drawn in favour of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, payable at Kochi.
Moreover, candidates can also download the prescribed applications from the mentioned official website of the University. The duly filled in and completed application form, along with all requisite enclosures and DD, should be sent to The Admission Coordinator, Office of Admissions, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, AIMS-Ponekkara, PO Kochi - 682 041, Kerala, latest by June 30, 2012.
