Ranchi: Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra, Jharkhand, will conduct its XXII i.e. 22nd convocation ceremony on June 3, 2012 (Sunday) at 10.00 am IST. The ceremony will be held at the Golden Jubilee Auditorium of the Institute. During the ceremony, degrees will be awarded to all PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) Scholars, Postgraduate & Undergraduate candidates who have qualified in their respective programmes after February 2011.
As per the notification issued by the Institute, Shri R Gopalakrishnan, Executive Director, Tata Sons Ltd. has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest of the ceremony and deliver the Convocation Address. In addition to that, Hon’ble Chancellor of the University and His Excellency the Governor of Jharkhand, Dr Syed Ahmed, will preside over the occasion.
All degree recipients are cordially invited. However, students, who want to receive their degrees in person during the convocation, are required to download the prescribed application form from the Institute’s official website: http://www.bitmesra.ac.in/.
