Department of Physics, University of Burdwan, popularly known as Burdwan University, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into two-year full time M Tech (Master of Technology) in Electronics & Communication Engineering (Microwaves) course, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2012-14. Candidates will be selected under different categories, which would be determined on the basis of the following:
For Category-A: GATE Score, marks in BE / B Tech and performance in the interview;
For Category-B (Sponsored): Performance in the interview and work experience;
For Category-C: Marks of written test, marks in BE / B Tech and performance in the interview.
Date of Exam
Written test is scheduled to be held on July 20, 2012 at 12.00 noon.
Test Centers
Interview/Test of candidates will be held at the Department of Physics, Golapbag

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form from the University Sales counter on production of relevant mark-sheet and on payment of Rs 150 in cash, from June 18, 2012 onwards. Candidates can get the same through post from Sr. Supdt., Sales and Information Unit, Burdwan University, Rajbati, Burdwan - 713104, by sending requisition letter along with documents for basic eligibility, a self addressed stamped envelop of Rs 30 (23 cm x 13 cm) and a DD of Rs 150 drawn in favour of the ‘Finance Officer, Burdwan University’ payable at SBI, Burdwan University Branch.

The duly filled in and completed application form along with all requisite enclosure documents (details given on the website) should be sent to the office of the Secretary, Faculty Council (Science), latest by July 6, 2012.
