Department of Psychology, Calcutta University, in Kolkata (West Bengal), has invited applications from eligible candidates for admissions into Ph D (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in Psychology, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012. Admissions will be made on the basis of a written test scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below followed by an interview. Candidates who are qualified in UGC (JRF) examination/NET/SET/SLET /Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations or those who have passed the M Phil in Psychology or equivalent examination are exempted from the written test.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the application form from the Department of Psychology, Calcutta University. Candidates who are interested to apply for PhD programme should apply in the prescribed format by paying Rs 100 through a challan. One can obtain the challan from Cash Counter in Rajabazaar Science College Campus and College Street Campus. The duly filled application form should be submitted in the Office of the Head of the Department, latest by April 6, 2012.
