Department of Marine Science, University of Calcutta, also known as Calcutta University, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) programme against 6 vacant seats, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in the admission test, followed by personal interview, to be conducted by the University.

Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form from the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. The duly filled in application form along with requisite documents should be submitted latest by March 5, 2012. The application should be supported by an application fee of Rs 100 by DD through duly filled in CU Challan, drawn in favor of the Head of the Department of Marine Science. Candidates also can deposit the application fee in cash at the cash counter of Department of Marine Science, University of Calcutta (Ballygaunge campus) 35 B.C. Road, Kolkata - 700 019.
