Girinagar: Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Deemed University (DU), Pune, Maharashtra, will hold its sixth convocation ceremony on May 28, 2012. Venue for the convocation event will be POINTS Auditorium, DIAT. All passed out students of 2009-11 batch M Tech and students who have completed MS by Research and PhD will be issued convocation certificates during the ceremony.
As per the notification issued by DIAT, Shri Prithvi Raj Chavan, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has kindly consented to grace the event as the Chief Guest. In addition, all those students who want to participate in the convocation are requested to confirm their attending the convocation ceremony, latest by May 20, 2012, by email on the Email ID: dracad@diat.ac.in.
Students are also informed that the abovementioned e-mail address is being protected from spam bots. Therefore, one needs to enable JavaScript to view it. In addition, accommodation facility can also be arranged for students at Officers' Mess / POINTS Mess. Students are notified that they must report to the Registrar's Office, DIAT on May 25, 2012 so as to attend the full dress rehearsal rounds on May 27, 2012, before the ceremony. Full dress rehearsal should be attended by all students attending the convocation.
