Mumbai: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai, Maharashtra, has issued the schedule of Centralized Admission Process (CAP) I / II / III for admission into MBA / MMS / PGDBM / PGDM programme, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012. The schedule of CAP I / II / III is as follows:
July 5, 2012 (at 5.00 pm): Display of revised sanctioned intake of existing institutes, seat distribution and new institutes along with their choices codes
July 6, 2012: Start of submission and confirmation of Online / Preference Form for CAP Round I by eligible Maharashtra state and all India candidates
July 9, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm): Last date of submission and confirmation of Online / Preference Form for CAP Round I by eligible Maharashtra state and all India candidates
July 11, 2012 (at 5.00 pm): Display of provisional allotment in CAP Round I for Maharashtra state and all India candidates
July 12, 2012: Reporting of Maharashtra and all India candidates to the institute as per the allotment in CAP Round I
July 16, 2012: Last date of reporting to the institute as per the allotment in CAP Round I by Maharashtra and all India candidates
July 17, 2012 (at 5.00 pm): Display of seats available and list of Maharashtra state and all India candidates eligible to participate in CAP Round II
July 18, 2012: Submission and Confirmation of Online Option / Preference Form of CAP Round II by eligible Maharashtra state and all India candidates
July 20, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm): Last date of submission and Confirmation of Online Option / Preference Form of CAP Round II by eligible Maharashtra state and all India candidates
July 21, 2012 (at 5.00 pm): Display of provisional allotment of CAP Round II for Maharashtra state & all India candidates
July 23, 2012: Reporting of Maharashtra state and all India candidates to the institute as per allotment in CAP Round II
July 26, 2012: Last date of Reporting to the institute as per allotment in CAP Round II by Maharashtra state and all India candidates
July 30, 2012 (at 5.00 pm): Display of available seats for CAP Round III and merit list of Maharashtra state candidates eligible to participate in CAP Round III (by counseling)
August 1, 2012: Admission round by counseling in person for CAP Round III at PUMBA, Pune
August 2, 2012: Reporting by the candidates as per allotment of CAP Round III to the respective Institute
August 3, 2012: Last date of admission round by counseling in person for CAP Round III at PUMBA, Pune
August 7, 2012: Last date of reporting by the candidates as per allotment of CAP Round III to the respective Institute
As per the notification issued by DTE, candidates have to submit and confirm the Online Option / Preference Form for CAP Round I / II by logging onto the official website of DTE Maharashtra: http://dte.org.in/. One can modify preferences, add choices, and delete choices ONLY before the conformation of the Online Option / Preference. Candidates have to confirm the submission of form, as the form will not be processed further if it is not confirmed.
All candidates have to pay Rs 50 in cash as felicitation fee for each of CAP Round I and II at Application form Receipt Centre (ARC). In addition, those, who qualify for CAP Round III, have to pay Rs 100 in cash as processing fee for CAP Round (Counseling Round) III at the counseling centre.
