University of Delhi, also known as Delhi University (DU), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Arts (MA) Psychology (North Campus) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. Selection will be made on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance test, followed by interview, to be conducted by the University on the below mentioned date.
Note:
- The entrance test will comprise of objective-type questions from Abnormal / Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, General Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology Social Psychology, Statistics of Psychology.
Date of Exam
Entrance test will be conducted on - July 2, 2012 (from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm)
Interview of the selected candidates will be conducted in three phases (from 10.00 am onwards) as per the following schedule:
- First Phase - July 8, 2012
- Second Phase - July 9, 2012
- Third Phase - July 10, 2012
Test Centers
Entrance test will be conducted at Arts Faculty Building University of Delhi, Delhi - 110 007
Interview of the selected candidates will be held at Department of Psychology, Arts Faculty Extension Building, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110 007
Note: Room number for the test will be announced on the notice board in the corridor between Arts Faculty and Extension Building for exams details.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the information booklet and application form between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm on all working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays) from the Department of Psychology, Extension Building, Faculty of Arts, University of Delhi, North Campus, Delhi - 110 007. In addition, applicants have to pay a registration fee (non-refundable) of Rs 400 (Rs 100 for SC / ST candidates) through a Bank Draft / Demand Draft (DD) drawn on State Bank of India in favor of the Registrar, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110007, payable at State Bank of India, Delhi University Branch (North Campus).
The duly filled-in application form complete in all respect should be submitted on or before the last date of submission of the application form. Note:
- Candidates will have to produce original documents (list given on the website) at the time of registration and the same shall be returned to them after verification.
- List of successful candidates for interview will be published on July 5, 2012, while the final admission list will be declared on July 11, 2012.
