University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT), Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, has invited applications for admission into four-year full-time Bachelor of Technology – Information Technology (B Tech - IT) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of entrance test, followed by counseling, to be conducted by the University.
Note: However, the University has also invited applications for admission into six vacant seats under Lateral Entry Scheme. The admission for the same will be made on the basis of merit of percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the three year diploma or B Sc with Mathematics & Physics programmes.

Interested candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus in person against a cash payment of Rs 1000 from the office of Director (UIIT), HP University, Summer Hill, Shimla - 171005. The same can also be obtained through post by sending a Bank Draft of Rs 1100 drawn in favor of U.I.I.T, H.P. University, Shimla - 171005. The duly filled in application form along with all requisite details should be sent to the abovementioned address of the University before May 26, 2012.
