Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT- Guwahati), in Assam, has invited applications from suitable candidates for admission into both the regular and sponsored full time MA Programme in development Studies, offered at its allied Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, in the upcoming session starting from July 2012. Selection of the candidates will be made through a written analysis test in English, conducted by the institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online by visiting on the official link of the IIT Guwahati: https://auto.iitg.ernet.in/ma. To know more about the details of filling up the online application form, one can visit the link: https://auto.iitg.ernet.in/ma/downloads/guideline_ma.pdf. After filling up the online application form, candidates are required to take the print out of the filled in online application form and keep it for further use. The requisite documents needed to be enclosed with the duly filled application form (to be submitted at the time of the Written Test) are the copies of mark sheets, certificates, recent colored photograph of size 4.5 cm. x 3.5 cm and other testimonials. Thereafter, a DD of Rs 150 (Rs 75 for SC/ST/PD candidates) drawn in the favor of “INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY GUWAHATI” payable at Guwahati must be attached with the completed application form. In addition, the completed form needs to be submitted along with the original DD at the time of the Written Test (in case the applicant is called for the interview).
