Kharagpur: The 58th Annual convocation ceremony of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur), West Bengal, is scheduled to be held on September 15, 2012. As per the notification issued by the Institute, all students graduating in the session 201-12 are eligible to be awarded the degrees at the Convocation either in person or in absentia.
In addition, the degree recipients who want to attend the convocation should report for registration on September 14, 2012 between 9:00 hrs and 14:00 hrs. However, all those students who have not paid registration fee, are requested to bring a DD of Rs 1500 in favour of IIT Kharagpur, payable at Kharagpur on the day of registration. Others are required to bring registration fee payment document.
Furthermore, the convocation rehearsal will also be done after registration is over. Therefore, all those candidates who want to take part in convocation must attend the rehearsal of the same.
