Jammu: University of Jammu, also known as Jammu University, Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, has announced admission into Part III of three years Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) and Bachelor of Science (B Sc), General programmes, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012-13. The programmes will be offered at Government / Private Degree Colleges affiliated to the University.
As per the notification issued by the University, admission process will start from August 3, 2012 and will end on August 9, 2012. After the stipulated date, admission will be offered by the principal of respective institutes on payment of late fee of Rs 150 (till August 16, 2012) and Rs 290 (after August 16, 2012 till August 23, 2012).
After the lapse of the final deadline, admission may be offered by the Vice Chancellor of the University on payment of Rs 1480. Candidates, whose parents’ income is Rs 3300 or below, are exempted from paying the aforesaid late fee for admission. As per the notification issued by the University, admission formalities will be carried out even on holidays or vacations and classes will commence immediately after the admission.
