KEA Bangalore Postponed Common Entrance Test (CET)-2012

Bangalore:  Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), has postponed the Common Entrance Test 2012, also known as CET. As per the notification issued by the authority, the exam dates have been postponed due to unavoidable reasons; however, the reasons have not been made cleared.
 
Earlier, CET-2012 was scheduled to be held on May 3-4, 2012 and Kannada Language Test on May 5, 2012. The new time table issued for CET-2012, as mentioned in the notification, is given below.
 
Revised Time Table for CET 2012
  • May 21, 2012 - Biology (10.30 am to 11.50 am) & Mathematics (2.30 pm to 3.50 pm)
  • May 22, 2012 - Physics (10.30 am to 11.50 pm) & Chemistry (2.30 pm to 3.50 pm)
Kannada Language Test
  • May 23, 2012 - Both for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates (10.30 am to 11.30 am)
Candidates are requested to note the changed time table and appear for the examination accordingly. Admission tickets will be sent to all candidates on or after May 11, 2012 to their respective colleges / home address as the case may be. However, the same will also be made available to download from the KEA website: http://kea.kar.nic.in/.
 
The CET-2012 results will be published on June 6, 2012. Verification of documents at helpline centers will commence from June 13, 2012. However, the schedules notified in the CET-2012 brochure for counseling and for other programmes will remain unchanged.
 
CET is being conducted by KEA in order to select candidates for admission into the first year Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy & Yoga / Engineering / Technology / Architecture courses for the seats to be notified by the Government in the Professional Educational Institutions in the state of Karnataka for the academic year 2012-13.
