Panjab University, Chandigarh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following disciplines of three-year MD (Doctor of Medicine) / MS (Master of Surgery) programmes, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test, scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below, followed by counseling to be conducted at GMCH, Chandigarh. Selected candidates will be enrolled as Junior Residents at Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, Chandigarh.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus in person from Post Office, Sector - 14, Panjab University, Chandigarh, on cash payment of Rs 2000 (Rs 1000 for SC candidates). The same can also be obtained through registered post on payment of Rs 2100 (Rs 1100 for SC candidates) through Bank Draft drawn in favor of The Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh. The request for the same along with the DD should be sent to the Manager, Publication Bureau, Panjab University, Chandigarh, latest by January 4, 2012. The application form, complete in all respect, along with other required documents in the given sequence (list is given on the website), should be submitted to The Assistant Registrar, CET CELL, Aruna Ranjit Chandera Hall (Near Post Office), Panjab University, Chandigarh - 160014, on or before January 16, 2012 (up to 4.00 pm). Candidates who qualify in the entrance test shall have to apply separately to GMCH by submitting an admission form along with attested photocopies of all documents latest by March 9, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm).
Note:
- Any incomplete application forms (in any manner) and those received after 4.00 pm on January 16, 2012 shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
- Candidates will not be considered for admission to GMCH in case separate applications are not submitted by March 9, 2012.
