University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism (UIHMT), Panjab University, Chandigarh, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for Panjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test 2012, also known as PUTHAT. PUTHAT is being conducted by the University, in order to select eligible candidates for admission into the following undergraduate courses, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to register themselves online by filling in the online application, made available on the University's official website: http://puchd.ac.in/ or admission portal: http://admissions.puchd.ac.in/index.php?id=70. The direct link for the online application is: http://puthat.puchd.ac.in/. The application / exam fee is Rs 800 (for General category) and Rs 400 (for SC / ST category candidates). The fee is to be paid through SBI bank pay slip (downloadable from the website) at any SBI branch. The last date of submitting and completing online application formalities is May 8, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm). For more detailed information about admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates are advised to visit the University’s aforementioned official website.
Note: Candidates who will avail the concession in fee under the category SC/ST must send a copy of the printout of their filled form along with a self-attested copy of Category Certificate to Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh - 160014 through registered post / speed post or by hand latest by May 10, 2012 (up to 5.00 pm).
