Ferozepur: Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus (SBSCET), Ferozepur, Punjab, has invited applications from eligible candidates for direct admission to fill vacant seats in 1st year / 2nd year Diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ECE, and Computer Engineering, to be offered in the session 2012.
As per the notification issued by the college, admission will be made as per the following schedule:
First Direct Admission
- Diploma 1st Year - August 20, 2012
- Diploma 2nd Year (Lateral Entry) - August 21, 2012
Second Direct Admission
- Diploma 1st Year & Diploma 2nd Year - August 22 & 24, 2012
The Institute was established by the Government of Punjab in 1995 with the name Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering & Technology as a tribute to the great martyr Shaheed Bhagat Singh. In the academic year 2011-12, it was upgraded to the status of a technical campus and rechristened as Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. The institute is fully promoted by the Punjab Government and is registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 1860.
