Admission will be made through a competitive examination, scheduled to be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 (earlier the exam date was February 26, 2012). How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the information brochure for MD from the Institute’s website: http://www.sgpgi.ac.in/. However, candidates are required to fill in the application form online by logging onto the aforementioned website. After successfully submitting the online application form, one must take a printout of the filled-in form. The application fee is Rs 1000, which is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, Academic Account, drawn on SBI, SGPGI Branch (Code No. 7789), payable at Lucknow. Candidates must mention their name and application registration number on the back of the DD.
The duly acknowledged hardcopy/printout of the application form along with all relevant documents in support of age, qualification, and proof of MBBS degree recognition by Medical Council of India/State Medical Council, reservation etc (duly signed by the candidate) and DD should be sent to the Executive Registrar, SGPGIMS, Raibareli Road, Lucknow - 226 014, latest by February 10, 2012. The applications should be sent through courier or speed post in a envelope super scribed “Application for MD Course-2012”.
