Anand: Sardar Patel University (SPU), Gujarat, has published the lists of qualifying candidates for various PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) courses in the following subjects, to be offered in the session 2012. The lists consist of students who have qualified for PhD through NET / M Phil / Entrance Test (conducted by the University). All those candidates, who have applied for PhD courses for session January 2012, can check the respective list by visiting the University’s aforementioned website. The PhD subjects offered are: Economics, Biochemistry, Sociology, Textiles and Clothing, Bioinformatics, Hindi, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Management, Microbiology, Botany, History, English, Physics, Pharmacology, Library Science, Biotechnology, Education, Gujarati, Zoology and Materials Science.
The counselling / interview, for all subjects for the listed students, is scheduled to be held on February 9, 2012 from 11 am onwards at the respective Departments / Institutes. However, counselling for Library Science will be conducted on February 14, 2012 at the Library Science Department. The candidates are required to be present with the tentative research proposal and original documents on the day of counselling / interview.
