Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Mumbai, Maharashtra has invited applications from eligible candidates for TISS National Entrance Test 2013, also known as TISSNET. TISSNET is an all India level entrance examination being conducted by TISS Mumbai for admission into the below mentioned programmes, to be offered at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses of the institute.

- Master of Arts (MA)
- Master of Science (M Sc)
- Master of Hospital Administration (MHA)
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
Note: Candidates who qualify TISSNET will be called for Pre Interview Test (PIT) and henceforth called for Personal Interview (PI), if they successfully pass the PIT. Final admission in the abovementioned programmes will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in TISSNET, followed by Pre Interview Test and Interview.

Online Entrance Test will be conducted on January 13, 2013.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online by filling up the application form on the official website of TISS: http://www.tiss.edu/. The direct link for the same is: https://appln-admissions.tiss.edu/. In case candidates are not able to fill the online application form, they should send an application to obtain the printed copy of the application form. An application fee of Rs 920 / programme is to be paid by the candidates by following any of the below mentioned modes.
- Online Payment: Only those candidates who are applying online will be able to remit the application fee through this mode. One has to use his / her Credit Card / Debit Card for paying the application fee.
- Cash Deposit: After filling up the online application form, candidates have to remit the application fee through Bank Challan (downloadable from the website) at any State Bank of India branch. Those, applying through printed copy of the application form, should use the prescribed Challan format sent to them along with the application form. On successful payment, the Bank will return stamped Students Copy and TISS Copy of Bank Challan. Candidates have to enter the SBI journal number in the Challan section of online form and scan the TISS Copy of Challan. However, those applying through printed form should enter the journal no. in the form.
After filling up the online application form along with the payment details, candidates have to submit the same on the website. However, printed copy of the application form along with two passport-size photographs and TISS Copy of Bank Challan, should be submitted in person or sent by post to The Assistant Registrar (Academic), Tata Institute of Social Science, V N Purav Marg, Deonar, Mumbai, Maharashtra - 400 088, on or before November 17, 2012 (November 20, 2012 for remote area students).
