Last date of issue and submission of application form for Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination 2012, also known as UPGMEE, has been extended. As per the notification issued, the last date of issue of application form has been extended till March 12, 2012 and similarly, the last date of submission of application form has also been extended to March 14, 2012. Earlier the last date(s) were March 3, 2012 and March 12, 2012 respectively.
Along with the abovementioned changes, the eligibility criteria for applying for the entrance test have also been modified. According to the new eligibility criteria, the applicant should have passed the MBBS / BDS examination from Uttarakhand viz Government Medical College, Haldwani and Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Jolly Grant, Dehradun, Sri Guru Ram Rai Medical College, Patel Nagar, Dehradun, Seema Dental College, Rishikesh, Uttaranchal Dental College, Rishikesh, Uttaranchal Dental College, Dehradun and were admitted through competitive exam (State UPMT) and not through NRI / Management Quota.
In addition, the maximum age for applying for PG course 30 years is abolished. Except the age bar for PMHS candidates remains the same. Interested candidates can obtain the application form and information brochure either from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pant Nagar or Medical Education Unit, 107 Chander Nagar, Dehradun, upto March 12, 2012. One can also submit the completed application form with OMR in person at the designated counter of the Office of the Registrar (UPGMEE-2012), G.B. Pant University, latest by March 14, 2012.
The UPGMEE 2012 is being conducted by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology for admission into MD / MS / MDS / Diploma courses in the below mentioned Allopathic Medical / Dental colleges in Uttarakhand, for the upcoming academic session 2012.
