Belgaum, Karnataka: The eleventh convocation ceremony of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) is scheduled to be held on April 8, 2012 at 11:30 am at the auditorium of VTU, Jnana Sangama, Belgaum, Karnataka. All the students who successfully passed their examination are cordially invited to collect their “Degree Certificates” personally.
As per the notification issued by the University, Governor of Karnataka His Excellency Dr. Hans Raj Bhardwaj will grace the event as chief guest and deliver the convocation address. Students, who want to take part in the ceremony are required to be present in the hall with neat white dress only and should maintain silence and discipline throughout the function. In addition, one must enter the hall at least half an hour before to the commencement of convocation function.
Only Gold Medalists, First Rank Holders, PhD and M Sc (Engineering) Students will be awarded with the degree on the podium and others who wish to collect the degree certificates in person, can collect them from the office of the Registrar on April 8 itself, after the convocation ceremony. One can also collect their degree certificates on April 9, 2012 during office hours on producing valid identity card, issued by the college.
Degree Certificates will be sent to those students who will not present in the convocation by Registered Post on their respective addresses, immediately after the convocation.
