Department of Education, University of Calcutta, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Education, to be offered in the upcoming session 2013. Admissions will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the written examination and personal interview, to be conducted by the University department.
Note: Those candidates who have already passed UGC / CSIR (JRF) examinations / NET / SET / SLET / M Phil / Teacher Fellow in Education need not appear at the written examination and can directly apply to appear at the interview.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to download the prescribed application format, from the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. The application fee is Rs 100, which can be paid through a challan obtainable from the cash counter, Alipur Campus. The duly filled in application form, along with all the requisite documents (details given on the website), must be submitted latest by March 19, 2013.
