Bangalore: Approximately 1.39 lac students will take up the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2013 to be held from tomorrow i.e. on May 1, 2013. It is a qualifying examination for admissions into professional colleges across the state to be conducted on May 1 and 2. This year an additional of 19,000 students will appear for the test compared to the last years figure.
As per sources, the Biology and Maths examinations are scheduled on Day 1, Physics and Chemistry exams will be held on Thursday. The test will be conducted in 287 centres across the state, of which 69 are in Bangalore. Moreover, sources have informed that out of the total of 1, 39,239 candidates appearing for the test, 35,820 are taking the examination in Bangalore. Furthermore, sources added that around 1,385 candidates will take the Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates on May 3, 2013 from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm.

Dos
Carry admission ticket and read the instructions carefully
Use a blue/black ink ballpoint pen
Candidates can't enter the hall after third bell i.e., after 10.40am / 2.40pm
Don'ts:
Do not carry slide rules, mathematical tables, markers, white fluid, erasers, cellphones, bluetooth devices, laptops, calculators / watch calculators, pagers, wireless sets and ear phones
Do not damage perforation provided on OMR sheet
