Gauhati University to Organize Workshop on Molecular Biology from April 22 – 27

Gauhati University, the Institutional Biotech Hub, Department of Biotechnology, will organize a week long workshop on molecular biology techniques involved in Agriculture, Healthcare and other biotechnology approaches. The workshop is scheduled to be held from April 22 - 27, 2013.

As per sources, the intake capacity for the workshop is limited and candidates will be selected on first come first basis. However, preference will be given to the Gauhati University candidates and its adjoining Institutes. In addition, the workshop will cover hands-on laboratory training in molecular biology and a few lectures by invited renowned speakers.

PhD and other research students irrespective of departments/research areas can participate in the workshop. Interested candidates may apply or contact Prof. M.C.
