IIM-Bangalore Increases Fee for Two-year Course by 6%

Bangalore: The batch of 2015, at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will witness a rise in its fee from Rs 15 lac to Rs 17 lac, a 6 % increase per year. According to a statement issued by the premier management institute, the rise is linked to the current inflation and consumer indices.
As per reports, a management course in IIM-B is more expensive as compared to IIM-A, which, will charge its 2015 batch Rs 16.6 lac. Moreover, as per statement issued by IIM-B, the new fee structure will be all inclusive of the tuition, hostel accommodation, health insurance, course and reading material including cases and books, computing facilities, library and other academic and co-curricular expenditure.
IIM-Lucknow, the oldest amongst the IIMs, said they are yet to decide on the revision of fee structure and will make announcement by next week. Moreover, in the past two years IIM-L has not increased its fees. The fees for 2012-2014 batches at IIM-L were at Rs 12.5 lac.
