Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), the internationally-known centre for training and research in Mass Communication, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following Post Graduate (PG) Diploma courses, to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2013-14. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the written entrance test conducted by the IIMC. This written test will be followed by group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI).

- PG Diploma in Journalism (Hindi) - New Delhi
- PG Diploma in Radio & Television Journalism - New Delhi
- PG Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations - New Delhi
- PG Diploma in Journalism (Oriya) - Dhenkanal branch (Orissa)

The entrance test schedule is as follows:
- May 26, 2013- The entrance exam date for all PG Diploma courses except Oriya Journalism
- May 27, 2013- The entrance exam date for PG Diploma course in Oriya Journalism

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply both online and offline, as per the below mentioned guidelines:
Offline: Candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus from IIMC New Delhi and IIMC Dhenkanal, on payment of Rs 1200 (for general category) and Rs 1100 (for SC/ ST / OBC / PH candidates). The payment should be made in the form of DD, drawn from any scheduled bank in favour of Registrar IIMC at Delhi. One can get the same through post, however, the requisitions for application forms should be accompanied by a DD and self-addressed stamped (Rs 70) envelope measuring 27 X 17 cm.
Online: Candidates can apply online by filling in the online application form made available on Institute's official website: http://www.iimc.nic.in/ or http://www.iimc.gov.in/. After successfully submitting the online application, one must take printout of the same. Each application form must be accompanied by a DD of Rs 1200 (for General candidates) and Rs 1100 (for SC / ST / OBC / Physically Handicapped candidates), drawn in favour of Registrar, IIMC New Delhi. The duly acknowledge printout of the online application form or downloaded form along with DD and other requisite documents should be sent to the Registrar, IIMC, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi- 110067, latest by April 22, 2013.
