Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad, Jharkhand, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into M Tech (Master of Technology) / M Phil (Master of Philosophy) programme, to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2013-14. Admission to M Tech / M Phil courses will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the All India Entrance Examination, followed by counseling, to be conducted by the Institute.

All India written test for is scheduled to be held on May 12, 2013 (from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm).

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online by filling in the online application form made available on Institute’s official website: http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in/ or http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in/admissions. The direct link for online application is: http://www.examinationonline.in/ismmtechmphil/. Application fee for both programmes is Rs 1500 for General / OBC candidates and Rs 750 for SC/ST/PD candidates, which should be paid through online bank challan of SBI. After successfully filling and submitting the online application, candidates must take a printout of the same. One copy of the completed application form (printout) along with requisite documents (list given in the website) should be sent to “Deputy Registrar (Academic & SW), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad 826004, Jharkhand”, latest by April 5, 2013. On the top of the envelope candidates must mention “Application form for M Tech / M Phil Admission 2013.” For more detailed information regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates are requested to visit the Institute’s aforementioned official website.
